Barcarolle, Op. 60 (Chopin)

One of Chopin's last major compositions, the Barcarolle has a lushly romantic and wistful tone. It is one of the pieces where Chopin's affection for the Italianate bel canto operatic style is very apparent, and the listener can envision gliding on a gently rocking gondola along the canals of Venice.
